Thank You......As I look back through the year so far there are alot of people that I am very thankful for.....some because
they continuiously go out of their way to really help me , for example the owners of Plastic Source, Bari Weatherbee
and Mary Pat Weber gave me their living quarters trailer to use while it is for sale. They drove from Phoenix to be at Twin
Rivers this weekend and support NLE and always seem to take the time to help whenever needed. It shows that having a good
support group around you makes a difference! Each person who continues to be apart of NLE is instrumental in our outstanding
performance. From our team who rides and competes to my sponsors who continue to help support me do what I love to do. We
need people in our lives that not only show us support when things are great but when times are difficult. I'm very thankful
for all of my supporters, friends and family and thank them for going that extra mile to make everything I do enjoyable. I would personally like to you all for go that extra mile for me and my team!
Thank you Rose Corona @ Big Horse
Feed, Bari Weatherbee and Mary Pat Weber @ Plastic Source, Dr. Emily Sandler @ Pacific Coast Equine Vetranarian Services,

Twin Rivers Results...........NLE had a very AMAZING weekend at Twin Rivers! Everyone finished in the top 5 in each division. A very exciting accomplishment
for having a large group of people competing. Each show I pick the horse and rider that showed the most improvement
and that would definantly be Chloe Smyth. She has been struggling and this weekend something clicked and she rode beautifully.
The horse that most improved was Nedra Vincents "Regatta". After escaping his stall and galloping 2 miles down the
road, Reggie was missing for a few hours in the morning. All I could think about was, please let him be ok and when I catch
him he's in big trouble. Spoken like a true mother. hahaha. We finally found him at the farm visiting with his new
buddies waiting to be picked up......Reggie saw Marc Grandia (who came along with me to help) and got a bit spooked, then
turned and saw me and trotted up like I was just the person he was looking for. He loaded in the trailer and we got him back
and tacked up just in time for his dressage ride. Quite an eventful morning considering I was competing 5 horses and
teaching 8 others. But he did a beautiful test and scored a 32. Not bad for a young rebel! LOL The results for
the weekend were very impressive with Kaylawna Smith winning the Jr. Training on Happy Go Lucky, Regatta finishing 3rd in
the Novice, Surprise Package finishing 5th in the Novice, Chloe Smyth finishing 8th in the Open Novice, Califf finishing 3rd
in Training Horse, Clark Kent finishing 4th in the Open Preliminary, Tamara Ryan rode beautifully in her dressage and show
jumping.....practicing for their debut in International competition @ Galway Downs, Jordan Linstedt and Tullibard's Hawkwind
finishing 2nd in the Advanced, and Bubbles @ Bricky finishing 1st in his first Advanced. NLE will be off to the Foxfield
Derby where their is over $5000 in prize money to be won. Stay tuned for our continued success!

Copper MeadowsCopper Meadows was another successful weekend and of course educational! We always come away from these shows with more information
then we started.......
1. Always check your equipment to make sure it is secure and in good condition......and
if it is not replace it! Even if your counter part says "it'll be fine". LOL 2. Always drill and tap your
horses shoes, regardless if its 110 and you do not plan to be anywhere near grass, because you never know if you will need
it! 3. And remember we do this because we love it and ultimately were just trying to have alot of fun in the process!
Congratulations to Vicky Conway and Otto on their 2nd place finish! Technically 1st because the first place rider
was over qualified for the division. We are very proud of Vicki and her new found partnership with Otto!
Copper
Meadows ran the Area VI Young Rider Championships and every NLE student did an amazing job!
Tamara Ryan and Gem
Dandy had a very good all around weekend. Their dressage, cross country, and show jump was smooth and showed that they are
really putting the finishing touches on their partnership. They were 4th overall in the Young Rider division.
Kaylawna
Smith and Leo were 2nd in the Training Level Championships and her team was 1st. She rode very well and it paid off! Way to
go Lana B!
Mallory Thompson and Discover gave everyone a run for their money and was nipping at the heals of the
other riders with a very nice dressage test. Mallory had the XC ride of the day in the Training level! She rode amazing and
I think her dad Steve is finally thinking Preliminary at Galway is a possibilty. :) Great Job Mal!
Chloe Smyth
has been working very hard at improving on her very powerful horse CSI. She rode very well and showed much improvement, although
it didn't result in the score she wanted Chloe is hoping to get things worked out at Twin Rivers.
Bob Conway
and Jugger were the dressage kings of the show! Bob rode extremely well and put in a very good test on a horse that can be
very difficult! We were all so proud of him! He went out of the start box on fire with a great go until at fence 12
his rein completely broke and he could not finish the course! Were not completely sure how Jugger stopped without any chaos
involved but Bob did an amazing job getting that handled quickly without injury to himself or his horse.
Makenna
Randle and Sara had a very good weekend! I think a few light bulbs went off in Mena's head during dressage warm up! Which
resulted in her best test ever. Very good student!!! She had a great ride in all three phases and ended on her dressage
score which helped her team go back into first place at the end result.
Lindsey Payne and Bobby had their first
competition back, since a tragic accident 2 years ago which left Bobby blind in one eye and partially blind in the other.
Lindsey's dedication to her horse is a testiment of good horsemanship and a real lesson to never give up. She completed
the event as one of the most competitive riders in her division because she worked hard to make Bobby's come back confident
and as anyone who witnessed it could see he trusts her 110%.
Once again a very competitive weekend for everyone!
Thank you to Margie Molloy, Dana Lynd-Pugh, Carolyn and Taren Hoffos, Fleeceworks and Stubben for putting on a great Area
VI Championship!
Everyone had a blast! See you all at Twin Rivers!!!!
