On our way to TexasWell it is that time......it seems as though this is really a dream that someone needs to wake me up from. I am leaving for
Texas to spend a few weeks with Mike Huber and my long time best friend Heather Morris. I'm really excited about seeing
her and being able to focus on Buzz! I wanted to thank everyone who has been such an instrumental part of me getting qualified
for such an amazing event at Rolex Kentucky CCI 4*. I have the best friends, family and support team anyone could ask for. I will be posting updates here for everyone to follow and I am looking forward to an amazing experience. Thanks again
to everyone and I will be posting updates to keep everyone posted.
Talk soon! Tamie Smith

Twin RiversWhat a great weekend! The team from NLE did a fabulous job this past weekend, bringing home many blue ribbons and some great
accomplishments.
The star of the weekend was Kaylawna Smith and Happy Go Lucky. Winning their division on their
dressage score of 23.5. Lana and Leo had the lowest dressage score of the show and beat the competition with more then 15
points ahead of her competition! WAY TO GO LANA!!!!
Scott Kuhlman competed in his first Intermediate this weekend.
He rode like a professional scoring a 31.2 on his dressage test, scoring better then many professionals in his division. Scott
was looking for a controlled, clean cross country round and made me very proud with his quick thinking out on course to complete
the course.
Michelle Hughes was 2nd in her 2nd Training Level. Starting the weekend with a fantastic dressage
score and ending with flawless cross country and stadium round. Michelle will soon be moving up to Preliminary with her very
talented mare "MeToo".
Surprise Package, Connie Bowman's very lovely gelding was very excellent this
weekend and a pleasure to ride. "Keeper" won his division and I would love to ride him anytime!
Miss
Congeniality stepped up to the plate competing in her first Training Level. Scoring a 32 on the dressage and jumping around
like she has been doing this her entire life. Genie is looking to have a very promising career.
Chaos Theory "Buzz"
skipped around the XC course with ease. We are definantly getting ready for Rolex. Buzz was one of only 2 horses to show jump
double clean. It feels fantastic to have such a wonderful partnership with such an amazing horse.
I wanted to thank
everyone who has been a part of NLE's success. Niki Zamora has worked with Tamie and Buzz continuously and helped Tamie
keep Buzz going post surgery.
Janis Linnan has been a wonderful additon to the NLE team, coaching at all of our
competitions and helping everyone get the most out of their horse in competition. Thank you Janis!
Dr. Emily Sandler
has been very helpful keeping a watchful eye on all of the NLE horses. We are very thankful to her expertise and all of the
help she has given Tamie and Buzz on their way to Rolex.
Lastly, we all thank Margie Molloy and Dave Kuhlman for
continuing to run and operate a wonderful competition and facility. Without their support to the sport as well as OUR support
to thier event continuous events in Southern California wouldn't be possible.
They say "It takes a Village"
and that is most definantly true. Without everyone's contribution NLE would not have the success it does.
THANK
YOU TO EVERYONE! Hope to see you all at 3 Day Ranch.......................................
